Dear parent(s) and guardian(s),
Thank you for a wonderful week of school. We have had some delays with buses in the morning due to the return of winter; next week looks to be milder.
Attendance
As parents, you will notice that teachers have been reaching out if your student has missed a significant number of classes and or has missed assessments. This is being done proactively so that we as partners can work together to keep your student on track. We understand there can be many reasons for students to miss classes. If you know your student will not be in school or needs to leave early please make an effort to call into the main office and let us know.
Cell Phone Policy
To support focused learning environments, students are expected to have cell phones put away during instructional time, unless a teacher has approved their use for learning. Thank you for reinforcing these expectations with your child.
For more information, please see the CBE Student Personal Mobile Devices Policy (AR 6008):

Alberta Education and Childcare Assurance Survey (AECAS)
Next week, Grade 10 students will be completing the AECAS survey. This input helps identify what is working well and highlights areas where improvement is needed.
