Vocal Music 10, 20, 30
Students who wish to understand singing and music in greater depth enroll in this sequence. Students develop vocal and general music fundamentals.
- All beginners are welcome! While this course is intended for students who have a basic-intermediate understanding of singing, all aspects of music theory, history, and vocal technique are covered in this course. There is a general fee associated with this course
Choir 15, 25, 35 - Concert Choir
Students who enter this sequence enhance their technical and vocal musical skills while performing in an ensemble. Courses are offered outside of a student’s regular timetable (in the morning) to allow students to engage in multiple Fine and Performing Arts courses.
- It is recommended that students have a basic understanding of singing before entering this sequence. Students are required to participate in all rehearsals and performances. There is a general fee associated with this course.
Fine and Performing Arts l Certificate
Successful completion of 30 credits of Fine & Performing Arts coursework and the completion of the Leadership in the Arts 35 course allow students to achieve the Calgary Board of Education Fine Arts Certificate upon graduation.
